Intimate Wedding at Domaine de Canaille

In May 2023, we had the pleasure of attending Paula and Kenny’s wedding, organized by the agency Fête in France, in the enchanting setting of the Domaine de Canaille. Nestled opposite Cap Canaille and offering spectacular views of the sea, this magical venue served as the perfect setting for an elegant and intimate celebration.

Two Days of Celebrations

The festivities began with a cocktail luncheon on the estate's terrace, bathed in spring sunshine and offering a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. Guests were treated to carefully prepared cocktail pieces, followed by Italian entertainment featuring freshly-made tagliatelle, served in a wheel of Parmesan cheese with morel mushroom cream, accompanied by crisp vegetables.

For those with a sweet tooth, we offered a buffet of homemade pies, unique petit fours, and a crêpe station that was a huge hit. The carefully designed decor combined lounge furniture with bistro tables, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

On the wedding day, guests were welcomed at 4pm with a refreshing lemonade, before gathering on the terrace for a moving lay ceremony, magnified by elegant floral decorations. With only 40 guests, the atmosphere was one of sincerity and love, making this a particularly touching moment.

A Refined Dinner and a Festive Evening

The dinner took place on the main terrace, with a live band captivating the guests. An unforeseen event punctuated the evening: before the meal began, all the guests got up to dance around the band, turning the moment into an unforgettable memory.

The bespoke menu perfectly reflected the bride and groom’s tastes. The Peruvian desserts, a nod to Paula’s heritage, were especially well received. The menu also featured classic French desserts, creating a delightful fusion between tradition and exotic flavors.
